Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Update Released

Updates to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Care Package, Emergency Airdrop, and Sentry Gun marker grenades sprint speed normalized

Sentry Guns: Improved placement detection, preventing cases of Sentry Guns inside geometry

Model 1887: Bling using Akimbo and FMJ combination now has same range and damage as non-Bling Model 1887s

Edom season 17 and Road to Victory Season 7 have now started.

We have entered the following:

MW2 Road to Victory - one map per week tournament - original mode (perks on)

Cod4 Road to Victory - as above one map per week HC mode

MW2 Season 17 Conquer Europe - (perks on mode). Challenge for countries, win occupy and defend 3 phases.

We have a tough Cod4 group to play in on the RTV, MW2 RTV I dont know as most clans are new and I have no idea who are in the MW2 season 17 section

Neo our good buddy from the TiTs will be taking charge of the newly formed scavenge ladder in EDOM

This will be going live from 18th January and presents a good opportunity to have some well played and challenging Scavenge matches. Anyone who wants to play please register your interest - I am currently seeing if we can run two matches side by side i.e. MW2 and l4d2 at the same time as we easily have the players at the moment.

Season 17 in edom is starting shortly with a variety of competitions.

League 17 set up - both Cod4 HC Pam and MW2 conquer Europe competitions will be running do we want to enter either, both or none?

The Road to Victory (tournament stylee) will also be running for both PAM HC and MW2 original modes - again do we want to enter either, both or none?

Sign ups for the compos close on 17th so I need your input by Sunday at the latest to ensure we can get in if thats the desire
